Welcome to Concordia,

"Serving Christ from Cradle to Crown" is the mission of God's people here at Concordia. There are two aspects to this statement.

First, as we grow in our faith through weekly worship, through regular participation in Holy Communion, and through systematic study of the Bible, the servant heart within each of us grows. This is a unique thing to experience, especially in our world today. So much of what goes on around us is best described as narcissistic (self-centered). At Concordia, we are not here to serve our own self-interests, but to serve our Savior who gave everything, including His own life, for us.

The second aspect of our mission is described in the words "cradle to crown." It is the desire of Concordia to see that every person, from birth (cradle) to death (crown) knows the truth of Jesus' love, His forgiveness, His grace, His mercy, and the peace which He alone can give. This is why we operate an Early Childhood Center, and a Lutheran Day School. Here children are daily and often taught the love of Jesus for us all, and how He would have us live as His people.
