We have some exciting news to share with you. Concordia Lutheran School will be open again this year, serving children in grades K-8. An arrangement has been negotiated with Rockford Lutheran Schools whereby Concordia students in grades 6-8 will receive their Christian education at Rockford Lutheran's Alpine Campus. This will enable them to be part of a larger group, and to participate in all the benefits available to students at Rockford Lutheran. The exciting part of this arrangement is the financial agreement. Rockford Lutheran has agreed to accept students grades 6-8 from Concordia, at the current Concordia tuition rate (approximately 40% lower than the Rockford Lutheran rate).

Why are they doing this? Rockford Lutheran is committed to building up Lutheran Schools throughout north-central Illinois and south-central Wisconsin. They want Concordia to be a strong and viable Lutheran Elementary school for many years to come.
